After Michigan threw us a curveball full of wind and rain, the Abston Family and I rescheduled for an early morning session the following week... and man!!!  this was a fabulous decision!  As a photographer- the morning light (although cloudy-- hello natural diffusion aka clouds) was beautiful and we managed to work ahead of the rain coming through!  As a mom- it worked out well with the little ones being awake and attentive, instead of tired and hungry at the end of a day session!  I definitely hope to do another morning session like this one again!  

Jessica got in touch with me with an urgent need for photos for holiday cards, naturally I replied, I can do that!!   Even with the delay due to weather, I was able to deliver images within a week.  Thankfully, she made my job super easy and her family was so sweet and fun to work with-- I enjoyed every minute! 

For this session, I ventured to Dundee and we spent time outside in their backyard... what an amazing fall backdrop, I might add!!  I really enjoy sessions in a place thats comfortable for my clients, especially with little kids!!  It's easier for all of us to be able to capture them in their normal "habitat" and everyone seems a bit more at ease... it allows for so many more candid and relaxed images!
